Wonderland Hills Community Mitigation Days
The Mile High Youth Core will be working in the Wonderland Hills area the week of October 10th providing FREE mitigation services to the community! Reach out if you would like your property to be part of the project!
What is the MHYC?
MHYC provides young adults with technical skills, targeted career preparation, and individualized support as they enter the workforce. Members work on projects that advance the forest health, fire mitigation, and canopy goals of communities across the state.
From October 10th to October 13th, MHYC, in coordination with WH HOA 4, City of Boulder Fire-Rescue Community Risk Reduction, Boulder Watershed Collective, and City of Boulder Climate Initiatives, will be completing various fuels reduction actions (juniper removal, brush removal, etc.) on HOA and private land to address wildfire risk on a community scale.
